Europe: Milan the world capitals design and fashion

Next stop is MILAN

Talking about Milan what would think of?...Leonardo da Vinci’s The Last Supper, La Scala opera house and Castello Sforzesco or Armani, Versace, Prada, Dolce & Gabbana, Pucci, Gucci and many more that took off on Milan’s runways. Well, yes all of those make Milan be the power house of the country and one of the most stylish cities on the planet.

We came back to Italy again by the night train. As soon as we arrived at the main train station in Milan, it was not hard at all to take subway to other stations. Trains and trams are everywhere and was very convenience to travel. We spent about one week in Milan. It was such a great time to hang out, eat Gelato and meet a lot of people. Our great trip was guided by P'Nokkob. Where we stay was not so far from Duomo (Piazza del Duomo). It is a huge space in the middle of the city. Even in the afternoon when it's very hot, there were still a lot of people hanging out, walking around and shopping.

Duomo is the most impressive building in Milan, even surrounded as it is by amazing Italian architecture. The outside is made of white marble and inside is even more impressive with giant stained glass windows depicting many scenes from the bible. (You have to dress properly to enter inside.)

If you want to do some shopping in Milan, maybe start from the central station. Take a short walk to the Corso Buenos Aires which is the longest street in Europe that is always packed with people who are searching for fabulous buys. Just keep walking on that street and it will become Corso Venezia and then Corso Vittorio Emanuele. The names are kinda hard to remember so just keep walking and shopping until you reach the Piazza, you can see Rinascente which is the oldest department store in the world and the upper levels are home for seven star hotel.

Well, ended this post with some of the food we tried in Milan...
